Meeting 1(5th july 2011) : Introduction to this subject for the very first time in ITM .Importance of Sports marketing and how to make money of out sports was explained.A surprise in the form of "No textbook , instead we have to read "The winning Way" by Harsha Bhogle and Anita Bhogle.
ReplyDeleteMeeting 2(8th july) :Definition of Value in terms of benefits and cost . Further , introduction to Business strategy concept.
Meeting 3(12 july) : Allotment of final projects , using marketing in different sports.How is it beneficial for marketeers to make money from sportsmen was explained using examples like SACHIN & RAHUL DRAVID.
Meeting 4(15th july) :Marketing is CCD and CCBS is UCD i.e Understanding , communicating and delivering was explained.The part "how do i get there" from the business model , was explained using 2 approaches i.e. Inside out approach and Outside In approach.
Also , the concept of Relative mkt share was discussed using the formula.
Meeting 5 (19 july): A healthy discussion on where do i compete was done using company strength VS market attractiveness . Using examples like maagi , facebook and G+.
Meeting 6(22 july) : Video by Harsha Bhogle (missed it , but seen later on)
Meeting 7(28 July) :TI case and several imp points like BCG matrix

Meeting 9 (4th Aug): Only one word "EYE OPENER" . Followed by an excellent case on British airways , focusing on VALUE ACCESSOR.
